Putting off Differential Diagnosis....

Yeah, sitting in a coffee shop, trying to study some stupid crap, but instead I get the urge to procrastinate (my special mutant ability) and put up a post....

So far, fall semester sucks a55.  I truely cannot wait till all this school is done and I have some kind of normal weekend life and social life.  I told the first year class that classic NAVY SEALs line... "Look to your left, look to your right... One of these people will not be here next semester."

I think I made them mad.  I don't think I'm their favorite upperclassman.

Hey, I'm just keeping it real.

Anyway, did I mention SOCOM?  No?  Then you better pull up your damn boot straps and get to fragging, mister, cuz it's coming in 2 weeks.  I've been playing the beta version, and I'm not having a good time. Glitches, mysterious boots from game, trouble connecting, borken interfaces...

(time out... hot chick just walked in....)

Where was I?  Yeah, socom is good, but it's got alot of flaws still, and needs work.  I, as well as alot of other people, are hoping that it all gets fixed, and we can all log on and get our frag on with little trouble...

That's all for now, gotta get back to reading this damn textbook and try to retain some information....

Crunch time: 2 exams, a quiz, and some Action Jeans

Here comes the weekend. For some people, summer weekends mean going to the beach, out to a party, or just lounging around. For me, summer weekends mean: SCHOOL, CLASS, and EXAMS.
This is first big weekend for mid-terms for the summer semester.
So what am I going to do? I'm going to do what Chuck does.
I'm going to cinch up my Action Jeans and go kick some ass. Because there's nothing like a "hidden gusset" to prevent binding or ripping. I mean, who wants some binding when you're trying to kick somebody in the throat, i need to be free, baby!

Hey, happy fourth of July to all you Americans out there. Many people will be hitting the beach or going to a barbecue today to celebrate.
That's great. Me?
I'll be inside reading literature reviewed journal articles so I can become an informed consumer of research literature. AWESOME! There's nothing like reading about motor learning and stroke recovery and the relevance of constraint-induced movement therapy to brighten your holiday. This stuff is awesome.

First exam of the second semester: Kinesiology

Ack! First exam of the second semester. Seems extra tough since I have no idea of what I'm in store for tomorrow at this exam. One day shot at written, lab practical, and some type of group project thing. The professor is such a whirling dervish of information that I have no idea where's she's coming from at times. Damn.
Back to studying.

Anatomy Exam results.

Hey, got both my Anatomy lecture exam and my lab practical exam results back this week. There were a couple of incorrectly graded questions that I brought up to the professor.
Point #1: The greater sciatic notch is not part of the ischium.
Point #2: Dopamine is not released by the adrenal medulla.
So, my question is this: would you go up and argue a point with the professor, regardless of what grade you got? I mean, we're talking about getting an "A", and getting an "A". My grade would go up a couple points in the end, but I'd still just end up with an "A". I say it's the principle of the issue. A right answer is right and a wrong answer is wrong, it's not my fault that my professor doesn't know his material.
What would you do?
