AHHHH!!! It's the Red Ring of Death!

First my hard drive, and now my XBox! Is there an electromagnetic field around me that breaks expensive electronic devices? My XBox360 just went kaput on me, after I just bought a new rechargeable controller and new game. Doesn't that suck?
Good news: Microsoft will repair it for free.
Bad news: No XBox for over 6 weeks!
Damn, looks like I'll have to spend more time on the SOCOM, or studying...
I'll let you guess which one I'll do first.

Do you have an XBox360? Do you know what XBLA is?

Look around you, chances are that you know at least three people that have an XBOX360. One of them doesn't know what XBOX Live is. That's right, according to Frank N. Magid Associates, a world leader in research-based consultation, "30% of Xbox 360 owners report that they have never even heard of XBLA."
Shame.
Please stop the madness.
Go out and spread the word about XBOX LIVE!

I got the Guitar Hero fever!!!

Went and picked up Guitar Hero II for the XBox360 last week and all I can say is that it totally rocks! I mean, it melts-your-face-rocks! I have a Neurology exam next week, so I'm trying to fit in as much rock time as I can before I really have to buckle down next week.
For now, it's rock on time.
I've been playing so much that I've been getting cramps in my left hand because of all the fast licks I've been doing. But I suppose it's just par for the course as I climb the ladder of rock stardom. Maybe when I move, I'll have a nice little Guitar Hero party at my new place...
Oh, yeah, that brings up another point, I'm planning on moving by the end of the month, so anyone want a nice 2 bedroom duplex in Bayridge, drop me a line.

Welcome to pknyc! I'm tired of playing stupid games.

Damn, time definitely waits for no man. I've been lax in my studies and just playing it up on my XBox360 with Rainbow Six: Las Vegas.
However after playing multiple hours online and finishing the single player game, I ask you: Why must all games now have open endings?
I mean, the past 3 games I've played on the 360 had open endings, leaving much room for sequels and junk.
Cases in point: Prey, open ending as the American Indian protagonist warps off the Earth to follow parasitic aliens. Gears of War, open ending as well as we find out that not all the Horde are destroyed by the big bomb. (geez, and after all that work) And finally, Rainbow Six: Las Vegas, another open endings where you find, SURPRISE, you've been double-crossed and have yet to apprehend the real bad guy.
What's up with that? Why can't a game just have a nice ending, and not leave me with some lame ass open ending where you have to get the next sequel game in order to follow that damn story.
Curse you all game developers for taking my hard earned school loan money.
