Do you have an XBox360? Do you know what XBLA is?

Look around you, chances are that you know at least three people that have an XBOX360. One of them doesn't know what XBOX Live is. That's right, according to Frank N. Magid Associates, a world leader in research-based consultation, "30% of Xbox 360 owners report that they have never even heard of XBLA."
Shame.
Please stop the madness.
Go out and spread the word about XBOX LIVE!

The United States: We Suck...

...at Peace Index Rankings.
The Global Peace Index is a worldwide ranking of countries and how peaceful they are. It ranks things like availability of weapons, the level of distrust of others, and other factors on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being most peaceful.
Turns out, we're 96th... out of 121 countries.
Even Bosnia is more peaceful than the U.S.
Hey, didn't they try and kill a bunch of themselves a while back?
Even Mexico is more peaceful than the U.S. But that's no surprise.
All the dirty Mexicans move here.

Bad dog, bad dog: doggy does baby all wrong.

Crazy story of the day, a pitbull attacks a 2 year old toddler. And when I say "attacked", I mean "sodomized."
The mother told Lockport Police that she left her two year old unattended for a short time and after hearing the baby scream, she ran to see what was wrong.
When she got in the room, she told Lockport Police the dog, named "Bear" had sodomized the toddler. The mother screamed, scaring the dog out of the house, but the dog was still attached to the baby.
One neighbor told 2 On Your Side, she heard the mother screaming "the dog is raping my baby." Neighbors ran to help, but only one man was able to get the dog and child apart.
Anastacio Castillo says "I tried to get the dog away from the baby, the dog was already inside the baby." When the baby was finally free, he was visibly sick. Castillo says the boy was vomiting and bleeding.
And to top it all off, people want to adopt the dog.
I don't know what is funnier, the dog running around with the baby attached to it or the people who actually want to adopt a baby-loving dog.

Holy Crap! After surgery, woman poops out of vagina.

Whoa, only on the internets, people. Seems that a Texas woman, Sara Wallace, after giving birth and receiving an episiotomy, wound up passing fecal matter through her vaginal canal. Needless to say, she's taking the doctor to court. Also, "the incident has been a source of embarrassment and mental anguish for Wallaces and has strained their intimate marital relations."
Hey, I'm only stating the facts, man.

After the Virginia Tech Shootings, Scientology jumps on the bandwagon.

I can't believe this. The cult of Scientology has jumped on the bandwagon in the aftermath of the Virginia Tech shooting to align itself with the Red Cross in supplying mental health needs for the survivors.
Under the made up organization called, National Mental Health Assistance, they totally blame it on the drugs, and repeatedly say that psychiatry is bad, as per one of their press releases:
Another School Shooter, Another Psychiatric Drug?
28 Dead and 62 Wounded in Recent Drug-Induced School Shootings

Today's shooting rampage at Virginia Tech is being called the deadliest school shooting incident in U.S. history, with initial reports citing 32 dead and 29 wounded in the bloodiest school massacre since Columbine. The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), a mental health watchdog that initially discovered the psychiatric drug connection in the Columbine shootings, says media and law enforcement must move quickly to investigate the Virginia shooter's psychiatric drug history -- a common factor amongst school shooters..

.

When is the scourge of Tom Cruise going to end? They totally jumped on the bandwagon after 9/11 too.

You are your cellphone.

Basically, researchers in the Nielsen Media Research hive out in Australia have come out with a little report on what your cellphone says about you.
Here's the stereotypes:

Sony Ericsson : Ambitious young men / Professionals / Success driven / Individualistic

Nokia : Family-minded / Middle aged managers / Balance seekers / Health conscious

Motorola : Fashion conscious / Under 24 / Fun seekers / Individualistic

LG : Favourite of mums / Stay-at-home parents / Success driven / Harmony seekers

Samsung : Young women / Career focused / Success driven / Fun seekers

Ha! Totally on the nose. I am soooo ambitiously young, professional and individualistic with my w800!

Possibly the greatest day ever for a frat?

University of Michigan frat Pi Kappa Alpha were treated to a great show as a woman came into their house and started masturbating on their couch for half an hour. Frat brothers called the police but by the time they arrived, the woman had disappeared.
Hmm, if I was in a frat and a woman came in to masturbate on my couch, calling the police would be the last thing on my mind. I'd be getting my video camera out and waiting on the bukkake!

14 Hewlett-Packard secrets they don't want you to know

How's this for some info for you.  Here's a list of some secrets that HP has in regards to their printers.  I love the first one:
1: Many HP Printers, like their laser printers, have a built-in page-count after which they won't work. This resides in the a transpart sometimes called image or drum kit. Rather than get the printer fixed, it's often cheaper to buy a new printer, OR you can do a NV ram reset. It resets everything in the printer, including all the page counts, but it's not without risks.
How's that for a kick in the pants.  They're all from a former employee who had signed an NDA, but waited for it to expire so he could spill the beans.
