Pilot Does "Top Gun" Fly-by and Loses Wings

January 21, California. Richard Webb, F-18 Super Hornet pilot did a 650 mph fly-by his airfield just 96 feet off the ground. So now, he got his wings revoked and has to finish his last 4 years in the Navy pushing pencils. Too bad. In response to his unathorized fly-by, Webb said, "No respected fighter pilot worth his salt can look me in the eye and tell me they've never done the exact same thing."
