Dragonball Movie: craptastic on its way!

What are the folks at 20th Century Fox thinking? James Wong and crew are really making a craptacular film.
I mean, really, what do you think when you take a manga story that's over 20 years old and totally bastardize it, or "Boll-it"?
Look at these images? Are these the characters that billions of people have come to know and grow up with? Bulma? Goku? Piccolo?
There were rumors that Fox totally scrapped production since it was looking so bad, but those were false and it looks like an April 2009 release is imminent. Too bad. Let's take a side by side comparison, shall we?

Look at these poseurs! Next thing you know, the film includes how they met at the MALL! I'm sorry, my mistake... it was at DAWSON'S CREEK!!!

This is the real deal, Goku and Gohan.

Is this the Matrix? The legend comes to life? More like DEAD ON ARRIVAL.

Note the blue hair.

Faker. Faker. Faker. Leather? WTF? All you're missing is the rainbow flag. And the Klingons. Worf, security to the bridge!

This is the real badass, Piccolo. Note the ears, and turban, and white cape... Will the turban and cape be in the movie? Probably not.

Look at these!?! Piccolo is GREEN for chissakes!!! Does James Marsters look at all like he's green there? And what's up with Hollywood's fear of casting real Asian actors for this film? Justin Chatwin? What's up with that?
I look forward to the vomitoriums that show this and all the crap and emesis that's going to cover their seats when this comes out....
Hopefully it won't see the light of day.
And monkeys might come out of my butt...

OMG! Iron Man Movie Comic Con Footage!

Finally, somebody put up the video on YouTube. It's got a glimpse at how Tony Stark became Iron Man and then shows some shots of the armor as well, I think it's the Mark I and Mark III red and gold! Can't wait for May 2008.


***UPDATE: Awww Damn! Looks like Paramount killed the video for copyright infringement crap. Too bad for you. That will teach you a lesson, that you should always check here for the coolest stuff everyday, because the video KICKED ASS!!!
If you missed it, here's a recap:
Video opens with Tony Stark addressing some military types out in the desert. Talking about how awesome his repulsor technology is and blah, blah, blah. Then cut to him in a Hummer riding along side some troopers and then while a soldier asks if he can get a picture of him cuz he's all famous and rich, they get attacked.
Explosions everywhere! All silent and sort of slow motion for dramatic effect.
Cut to Tony waking up in a dark cave after being unconscious or something, ripping at some bandages on his chest. He's all like, "What did you do to me!?!??" and stuff to this Asian guy standing in the corner. Then he goes on to explain how he should be dead and that the thingy in his chest is keeping him alive... blah, blah, blah.
Then montage of scenes quick cut with voiceover of Stark, making the Mark I armor. After he gets it all done, he busts some heads in the desert, get to see the Mark I in action.
Then cut to some civilian shots of Stark and his Audi car, and some paparazzi, and all celebrity famous stuff. I think there's some cuts of Iron Monger in there...
Then cut to the Red and Gold! The Mark III is all up and running, and the final scene is the Mark III flying, being followed by some F-22 Raptors.
Sweet!!!!

Watch Movies Online!

Yeah, it's back to school for me. So much for the 2 week winter break. I'm taking Kinesiology, Pharmacology, Neurology, and Measurements this Spring Semester, so I'll be up and busy again.
But on a good note, I ran across this site: Simplistic's Movie Links.
They've got a good list of movies there that are free streaming off the web from sites like YouTube or Revver, so they're broken up into 10 minute chunks. But, hey, they're still FREE! I watched Jackass 2 last night and I'm going to work on watching Borat next.
