w800i Firmware Bug

Well, I've had this phone for 4 days now, and run into a couple of problems.
The w800i itself works fine as a phone and camera, but the problems is when I try and get mp3 files or video onto it. I've searched around on the web and come to the discovery that the software that came with the phone, "Disc2Phone", which allows you to transfer songs, is buggy.
Basically, it sucks. Almost unusable interface and unstable connections that result in mp3 file corruption or non-transferring of files. Unforgivable, Sony!
But I've also heard that it's the firmware of the phone that creates this problem of "phantom mp3s" on the phone. This is a problem also.
So to get around that, and the slow USB 1.0 transfer speed of the phone, I pop the memory stick out of the phone and put it into my PSP. Now I can drag and drop mp3s to my hearts content and get fast USB 2.0 transfer speeds. You can get the same results with an external memory stick card reader.
BOO-YAH!!!
