google launches video playback

google is getting bigger... monday, google launches their video playback service. it's still in beta, so there are some bugs in it still. basically, it allows anyone to upload videos to the google server and have them available to anyone, for free or for a price.
i even uploaded a video, you can see it here. it was taken at last year's DigitalLife convention, during the DDR final. you'll need to download the player to view the videos. but it's just a browser plug-in.
this will allow anyone to have their home-made videos available for the world. so, true, the world is getting smaller and your 15-seconds of fame may become 30-minutes... just look at Andy Milonakis.
