my trip into the heart of geek-land

i recently went to an engadget.com reader meetup. if you've been follow my site, pknyc, then you know i'm into tech. and it was a geeky tech bonanza at COMPACT IMPACT. it was hot and crowded, but the geeks were out in full force. even got my pic onto other websites, lol. i'm famous, man!

i'm thinking, "damn sausage-fest."

and that's the only thing i won. the apple ipod remote control.

that's about it. i went, stood around for 2.5 hours, talked a little to the editors, and came home with a remote control for an ipod i don't even own. i mean, why couldn't i get a smartphone or pocket pc?
i hate ipods....
