DIY: Digtial Photo Frame Continued

I removed the LCD plastic housing and removed it from the hinges of the laptop body. I then reattached it reversed so that it's on the outside of the laptop, allowing me to close it but still have the screen visible.

The LCD is connected to the motherboard with alot of thin wires. During the removal process, I accidently snipped one and the screen went all crazy, showing only green hues. So I had to reconnect it with some electical tape. I was contemplating removing the body so that the whole thing would be lighter, but it looked like more trouble than it was worth so I just left it in place.

Here's the final product again. Pretty simple task altogether. A laptop minus the optical drive, the speakers, parts of the housing, and some screws. I also took out the battery, but put it back in the end just so I could use it when it was unplugged from the wall.
I actually cut other holes in the bottom so I could get access to the USB ports also. That way I don't need to open it up all the way to add any more pictures, I can just use my thumbdrive.
Now I have a nearly endless supply of pictures and won't get bored from looking at the same picture again. Rock on!!!
