New York Auto Show 2006

Finally got some time to sort through the 200 pics I took at the NY Auto show. I love the concept cars. Some of my favorites: the Camaro, the Challenger, the Charger. All the classic Detroit muscle cars are making a comeback.
Big news: hybrids, hybrids, hybrids. Lots of new hybrids featured. Also "In-Wheel" engines.
What is that? Picture no big engine block or drivetrain taking up room in the car. So now each wheel can have its own drive and tracking, increasing safety and decreasing traction loss. Also Toyota featured a minivan with the in-wheel engines, AND four wheel steering. Talk about fun.
