A Moment of Silence...
It's finally happened. After reinstalling windows several times and backing up my laptop info, the hard drive finally kicked the bucket.
After the whole thing happened before, I was able to save my laptop by reinstalling and partitioning my hard drive. But the slow whine of death was only 3 months behind. Early this morning, I couldn't do anything to revive it. Time of death: 12:55am.
So my best way to fix this is just get a new laptop.
I'm off to the big Best Buy and plopping down the card and getting something nice. Thought about switching to the new MacIntel, MacBook, but all my cool programs are windows only... So it looks like it's all windows for now.
