Download of the Day #13
I'm eager to try this service. It's been around for more than a year and alot of tech geeks have been using it for regular phone calls and conference calls and podcasts. It's Skype! A VOIP service.
All the calls between computers running Skype are free. Calls to landline phones are really cheap. International calls are cheaper than the commercial Vonage broadband phone system. And they've recently added video also! You'll need a USB mic and speaker or USB phone (available at Radio Shack or elsewhere) and a camera if you want the video calls, too.

I've recently discover Skype, everybody was talking to me about it, but I was not convinced to leave Msn messenger. Now that the new Skype 2.0 offers video it has made me decide to give it a try. I found is easy to install and use and the sound quality is clearly better than with msn... Since that day: bye bye Microsoft!
i hear ya, brother!
