XBox 360 is Totally Hype

Well, the damn thing has been out maybe 2 days, and we're getting alot of reports that it just doesn't work. It totally crashes (what do you expect? Windows.). And to top it all off, you can expect to get mugged or robbed if you let people see that you do have one. (story 1, story 2, story 3)
Obviously, this is a result of a successful advertising campaign. Everybody bought into the hype and now they've (Microsoft) have released an inferior product into the wild and people are getting robbed, in more ways than one. I guess the 360 is this year's Cabbage Patch Kid.
Note to all those who want a 360: wait till next year, when you know what the hell you're getting into.
And if you have one and it's crashing, you can try this fix to aerate the power supply brick.
