OK, so I'm going to try and bring you a program or special download each day for all you readers out there.
First of the series is MP3Trim.
I download alot of mp3 files from various sources, never from the iTunes store, or Napster, or any of those other chump sites. But the trouble is that these songs I get are all over the place in terms of volume and length. Some files are really loud, some are soft, some have gaps of silence at the start or at the end of them.
All this really annoys me. So I clean them up and make sure there isn't any gaps in the songs with MP3Trim.
You can equalize the volume; add fade in, or fade out; remove silences; and keeps the quality of the MP3 intact.
And best of all, it's free.
