Your Printer is Spying on You

EFF.org has broken the code that a Xerox printer puts on every paper that it spits out (yeah, even the blank pages have them). The printer prints out microscopic code on each page detailing the printer's serial number, date, and time of each page printed. It started out as a way for the government to stop currency counterfeiting, but now, I think counterfeiting is probably beyond color printers like these.
