Stupid idea of the day: Advocates push for simpler 'spelling'

Ranking right up there with the idea of pushing "ebonics" as another language, Alan Mole, president of the American Literacy Council is pushing for "simpler spelling". Which basically amounts to the totally abuse of english as a written language with such words like: wae, capcher, publix.
